International Hybrid Workshop: Women of the Waterfront. Gendering Ports, Careers, Relations and (Everyday) Life Trajectories in Modern Times

L’altro Pasolini. Guido, Pier Paolo, Porzûs e…

In 1944, while the poet Pier Paolo Pasolini was fighting “with the weapons of poetry”, his younger brother Guido joined the Italian resistance movement with the Osoppo Brigade on the Friuli mountains (Italy). Pier Paolo learnt that Guido had been killed in the Porzûs massacre only when the war was over. This tragedy deeply marked the Poet, both from the point of view of affections and from the political-ideological one.
