The online conference “to Save the Earth is a Human Duty” takes place on the occasion of the Earth Day 2022 and the birthday of the Nobel Laureate Rita Levi-Montalcini. The Earth Day is the largest environmental event in the world, a unique moment in which all citizens unite to celebrate Earth and to safeguard it from exploitation.
More than thirty years ago, Rita Levi-Montalcini supported the idea of a Declaration of Human Duties, an ethical code of shared responsibility to preserve human dignity, protect the environment and maintain peace among populations.
To analyze the ethical and juridical foundations of the environmental commitment and its aspects related to sustainability and people well-being, outstanding figures from enterprise and academia will be in dialogue on the WEB.
